[Ishikawa Creative Shunkei Kaga lacquerware]
Kaga-nuri is a lacquer technique that has the elegance characteristic of Yamanaka lacquerware from Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture, which is famous for its lacquer production.
The Yamanaka region flourished in lacquer art, and research into various lacquer crafts has progressed, and the evolution of lacquer painting techniques has been remarkable. Among the different types of lacquerware, the technique of creating patterns by layering lacquer, then applying lacquer on top and polishing it was perfected as Sosaku Shunkei-nuri. The expression of the layered lacquer that serves as the base changes depending on the thickness of the lacquer and the thickness of the lacquer brush strokes, so a variety of lacquer works are created depending on the sensibility of the artist.
The creative Shunkei Kaga lacquer applied to this product is the work of Mr. Kobayashi Misaki (Masatoshi Kobayashi), an artist who lives in Kaga City and has been involved in lacquer art for over 30 years. The lacquer art is unique in its transparency, depth, and elegance, creating patterns that evoke thoughts of the tranquil flow of nature and the richness of human emotions. This work can be said to be the culmination of Mr. Kobayashi's long years of experience working with lacquer as a lacquer artist, and the work was created because the artist has studied and studied the countless expressions created by layering the lacquer as a base.

[Traditional lacquer art] Beautiful]
Series name “BeautifulAbout
The value of lacquered furniture (lacquerware) is said to have been established during the Nara and Heian periods as a symbol of wealth for the aristocratic society and a beautiful representation of the world of Buddhism and Shintoism.
The word ``Uruwashi'', which is said to be the origin of the word ``Urushi'', is a word that means something exquisitely beautiful, and since the Japanese concept of beauty was born and flourished during that time, it is only natural that ``Urushi'' became associated with ``Urushi'' as a word that imparts ``Lightness''.
In order to express the beauty and depth of Japanese tradition, and to bring moisture and excitement to people, we chose the famous Sanada cord for the pen holder, the accompanying bag, and the paulownia wood box, all of which are made in Japan, and named it the traditional lacquer art "Rei" series.
