Sailor Fountain Pen Sea Fountain Pen 10-2091
This fountain pen is a collaboration product between SAILOR and SATELLITE CRAYON PROJECT "Sea Crayon".
[Eleuthera Island]
The color was extracted from the coordinates: 24.98503, -76.36213, and the main body color reproduces the sea in the western part of Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas, and the original color of the lid and tail plug reproduces the ooids (roe stones) that exist in the sea in that area.
The Bahamas, to which Eleuthera belongs, is a collection of approximately 700 islands and 2,400 large rocks, mostly made of coral reefs. Immediately adjacent to the shallow waters of the coral reef, there is an area that suddenly becomes deeper, also known as the "tongue of the sea." Beautiful patterns and bright colors are created by the complex water flow created by this difference in depth and the pure white sand that contains a lot of ooid.
SAILOR/SATELLITE CRAYON PROJECT
For the Sea Fountain Pen, we selected three colors from among the 12 colors of the "Sea Crayon": "Eleuthera Island", which reproduces the sea of the western part of Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas, "Amami Oshima", which is the sea color of Japan's Amami Oshima Island, and "Syvash", which reproduces the rotten sea of shallow tidal flats that spread out on the west coast of the Sea of Azov at the northern end of the Black Sea, and applied them to the fountain pen and ink.
Please enjoy fountain pens and ink that reproduce the richness of the colors of the oceans that exist on Earth, along with the story of the place.
