This fountain pen is a collaboration product between SAILOR and SATELLITE CRAYON PROJECT "Sea Crayon".

The color was extracted from coordinates: 46.13594, 33.91955, and the body color reproduces the rotten sea of shallow tidal flats that spreads on the west coast of the Sea of Azov, and the original color of the lid and tail plug reproduces the pink salt produced in the Crimean Peninsula, which is close to the rotten sea.
A shallow tidal flat on the west coast of the Sea of ​​Azov. It is said that even at its deepest point it is about 3 meters deep. Because it is so shallow, there is little seawater circulation, which causes water temperatures to rise in the summer. Normally, the salt concentration of the sea is said to be about 3.5%, but the salt content of this rotten sea is about 35%, which is 10 times that amount. Soy sauce is said to be about 16%, which means it is very salty. Combined with the high salinity, algae grow abnormally and produce beta-carotene, resulting in this color.

SAILOR／SATELLITE CRAYON PROJECT
For the Sea Fountain Pen, we selected three colors from among the 12 colors of the "Sea Crayon": "Eleuthera Island", which reproduces the sea of the western part of Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas, "Amami Oshima", which is the sea color of Japan's Amami Oshima Island, and "Syvash", which reproduces the rotten sea of shallow tidal flats that spread out on the west coast of the Sea of Azov at the northern end of the Black Sea, and applied them to the fountain pen and ink.
