With the spread of smartphones and the Internet, the number of businesses selling products online is increasing.
There are several laws and regulations related to conducting mail order sales, and businesses must comply with the laws and operate properly.
However, many businesses are not aware of the latest revisions to various laws and regulations.
In April 2022, revisions to the Personal Information Protection Act came into effect, making it mandatory to notify the person in the event of a leak of personal information, in addition to reporting to the committee.
Additionally, in June of the same year, the Specified Commercial Transactions Law was revised, making it mandatory to display certain items at the final stage of application.
Both laws include penalties, and mail-order businesses cannot afford to be unaware of them.

This DVD explains the revisions to the Specified Commercial Transactions Law and the Personal Information Protection Law that have a major impact on mail-order businesses, and is designed to help businesses understand the matters they must respond to.
It also includes template formats for mail order terms of use and privacy policies, which mail order businesses have difficulty creating or changing.
