The revised labor standards that came into effect on April 1, 2020 will change the rules for clarifying working conditions, We will thoroughly explain the points to note regarding the indefinite conversion system, based on the latest notifications. Comes with model work regulations!
Due to revisions to the "Labor Standards Act Enforcement Regulations" and "Standards for Conclusion, Renewal, and Termination of Employment of Fixed-Term Labor Contracts," the rules for specifying working conditions will change from April 1, 2020. From April 1, 2020, all workers, including fixed-term contract workers, will be required to clearly state in writing the scope of changes in their workplace and work when concluding labor contracts and renewing fixed-term contract workers. In addition to the above, at the time of concluding a fixed-term labor contract and each time the contract is renewed, it is necessary to (1) clarify whether there is a renewal limit and its contents, and (2) explain in advance the reason for establishing or shortening the renewal limit. For other fixed-term labor contracts that include the right to apply for indefinite-term conversion, it is necessary to clearly state that an application for indefinite-term conversion is possible and clearly state the working conditions after indefinite-term conversion at each contract renewal timing. This DVD not only covers the revised points, but also touches on how to clearly state working conditions and how to develop work rules using model work rules, as well as provides detailed explanations of other points to consider and practices that should be implemented now.
