However, currently, approximately 80% of towels distributed in Japan are imported. Unlike before, production technology in the Asian region is also progressing rapidly. The time may have already come when it will be difficult to compete simply by highlighting differences in quality. So, what exactly is there in Imabari towels?
``It's all about Japanese people making towels that Japanese people use,'' says Orim Co., Ltd., who requested the original towels this time.
