Mitsubishi Pencil's ballpoint pen "uni-ball oneF" uses faded colors for the barrel
A gel ink ballpoint pen with a themed barrel color and a stable writing experience with a low center of gravity.
"uni-ball one F" is a new series from "uni-ball one". The barrel design has a smooth finish with no steps. The barrel colors are available in dull and faded colors (faded colors). It is equipped with a stabilizer mechanism, realizing a stable writing experience with a low center of gravity.
There are seven barrel color variations, with "Keshi (F Black)", "Muku (F Gray)", "Hana Kasumi (F Pink)", and "Hyuga Natsu (F Yellow)" for ball diameters of 0.38 mm, and "Shimo Pillar (F Blue)", "Ha Shizuku (F Green)", and "Akanezora (F Red)" for ball diameters of 0.5 mm.
The ink used in the "uni-ball one F" is the newly developed "uni-ball one ink," which makes the black color even darker. You can write letters that will leave a lasting impression when you look back at your notebook.
[Product Features of uni-ball one F] ■Barrel colors that express familiar colors seen in daily life The scenery seen in daily life changes depending on the season and situation, and the colors appear ambiguous rather than primary colors. Based on this, we have prepared a selection of faded colors for each barrel. With the desire to have a favorite pen that is always at hand, the names of each barrel color were adopted from trivial everyday scenes that will evoke an emotional sensibility in the user.
■Simple and more sophisticated barrel design
・The barrel material is unified between the rear barrel and the front barrel, resulting in a smooth design with as few steps (unevenness) as possible.
・By lengthening the tip, the streamlined shape to the tip becomes smoother, giving an overall clean impression.
■Equipped with a "stabilizer mechanism" that realizes stable writing with a low center of gravity
・The tip that holds the refill is made of a metal pen tip with improved dimensional accuracy, achieving a stable and smooth writing feel with a low center of gravity. It is suitable not only for studying and taking notes, but also for diary writing, as it can be written steadily and smoothly with light force.
・In addition to a comfortable writing feel, the metal pen tip accentuates the sharpness of the design, giving a more sophisticated and high-quality impression.

[Reference] About "uni-ball one"
"Uni-ball one," which was newly released in February 2020, is known for its ability to write dark, clear ink and a design that is simple enough to blend into your living space. It has been well received by a wide range of people, from students to working adults.
■Features of the newly developed "Uni-ball One Ink"
Unlike typical gel inks, the ink used in "uni-ball one" uses a new pigment that minimizes the penetration of coloring materials into paper fibers.
The pigment used in "Uni-ball One Ink" is a proprietary bead-pack pigment that confines conventional coloring materials within the particles.
By trapping the pigments that make up the ink's coloring materials inside the particles and increasing the particle size, the penetration of the coloring materials into the paper surface is minimized. This allows the coloring materials on the paper to develop their original colors, making the blacks darker and the colors more vivid.
①The blacks are darker and the colors are more vivid, allowing you to write clear, memorable letters.
Compared to regular gel inks, the black color is darker.
Through joint research between our company and Ritsumeikan University, we found that the darker and clearer the letters are, the more memorable they are. By using uni-ball one, which is darker than regular gel inks, you can write letters that are more memorable when you look back at your notes.

Under the supervision of Professor Masashi Hattori of the Faculty of Integrated Psychology at Ritsumeikan University, a memory recall task, an experimental method of cognitive psychology, was conducted on high school students. When comparing the memory performance of handwritten characters written with ballpoint pens of different shades, the results showed that characters written with the dark black ink of 'uni-ball one' had a higher correct answer rate and a higher recall rate than those written with general gel ink. The results of this research were reported at the 38th Conference of the Japanese Society of Basic Psychology.
② Ink that does not bleed and dries quickly
General quick-drying ink achieves quick drying by quickly penetrating the ink into the paper. This can cause the ink to bleed or bleed through.
The newly developed "Uni-ball One Ink" changes the solid to liquid component ratio in the ink, allowing the liquid component to quickly penetrate the paper while leaving the solid coloring material on the paper. Although it is a quick-drying ink that penetrates the paper quickly, it prevents the coloring material from being absorbed by the paper, so it does not bleed or show through to the other side.
■Simple and straight barrel design
The barrel design is simple and straight. The oval-shaped "open wire clip" is not only stylish in design, but also functional, as it is a movable clip that makes it easy to clip onto a notebook or diary.
