As you can imagine from the name, "Meiji no Iro" ink is a color ink that harkens back to the Meiji era and is inspired by the colors that were popular during that time. Each color has its own background from that era, so please enjoy the colors as you use them. They can be used with fountain pens, glass pens, dip pens, Kuretake empty pens, etc.
Kuretake Co., Ltd. was founded in 1902 (Meiji 35). To commemorate our 120th anniversary, we thought back to the era 120 years ago and selected six ink colors with the Meiji era as a background.
Peacock Green
A color introduced from the West during the Meiji era, this vibrant blue-green color resembles the beautiful feathers of a peacock.
