This is the second release following the WAJIMA BIJOU Coral (pink) and Sapphire (blue) released in December 2020.
This lacquered fountain pen is a living example of traditional craftsmanship, with the grooves in the body filled using Wajima lacquer and Maki-e techniques, and the surface smoothed and glossy by repeatedly painting and polishing. The border, cap, and tail cap of the pen are finished with colored lacquer, mother-of-pearl, and pure gold powder sprinkling, inspired by the image of a jewel, Bijou.
This fountain pen itself is worthy of being called "Bijou", as each pen is carefully painted and Maki-e hand-painted by Wajima lacquer Maki-e craftsman Takuya Hino. The original design of the cap gold ring has a serial number engraved on it, and it is equipped with Sailor Fountain Pen's unique large 21-karat gold nib.
It comes in two colors: ruby (red) and emerald (green). Only 300 of each color will be sold in Japan and overseas.

Ruby
The beautiful fiery red color fills the body of the person who has it, and vitality and courage surge forth. The red color is also a symbol of warm love, and it brings the power to be blessed with deep affection. Furthermore, it is said that the vibration of ruby has the effect of enhancing rich sensitivity.

Emerald
Emerald is a mysterious, deep green stone. This stone has captivated the hearts of many people since ancient times, and is said to have the power of very strong love and to be effective in achieving love. It is also believed that by wearing it, people will be healed from within and gain wisdom and patience.
